Ashlar Stones
Porphyry Ashlar Stones are
porphyry stones with an
exposed sheared surface and two natural surfaces or sawn sides. Both the split face and rusticated
ashlar stones are used
to cover retaining and containment walls, facades and parts of buildings. The Rusticated ashlar is different to the split face ashlar because it has a larger entrance of 15-25 cm.
